Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to join our team at BuildPave of Westhoughton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve store targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase revenue.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment for staff and customers.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Manage store budgets, expenses, and financial reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role, preferably in the building or landscaping industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Knowledge of landscaping materials and construction products is a plus.
